500ml Medium Bodied Red Wine
2-3 Garlic Cloves (whole)
2-3 Thyme Sprigs
2tsp Cherry Balsamic Vinegar
25ml Concentrated Beef Stock

I love a good red wine jus with my steak, and I think I have created a winner with this one.

Heat

Add the wine, beef stock and balsamic vinegar to a pot and heat until almost boiling.

20 minutes

Simmer

Add the thyme and the garlic. Simmer and reduce until you end up with about 1/4 of what you started with. The sauce should coat the end of your wooden stiring spoon.

Serve

Strain our herbs and serve immediately or cover and keep warm until required
